California “Shine the Light” Disclosure
Under California law, customers who are residents of California may request information once per year about our disclosures of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To request this information, please contact us at [email protected].
What Information We Collect
When users interact with the Redefining Strength website, app, or services, certain personal and non-personal information may be collected. Personal information may include name, email address, mailing address, phone number, payment or credit card details, health-related information voluntarily submitted (such as fitness goals or dietary preferences), or any other information a user chooses to provide when registering, placing an order, completing a form, subscribing to a newsletter, or otherwise engaging with Redefining Strength.
Submission of personal information is voluntary; however, choosing not to provide certain details may limit access to specific features or services.
In addition to personal information, Redefining Strength may collect non-personal data that does not directly identify an individual. This may include information about browser type and version, device type and operating system, IP address when not linked to identifiable users, referring website, general location data such as city or region, and general usage patterns on the site including time spent, pages visited, and actions taken. This type of data is typically used for analytics, performance tracking, and service improvement, and may be shared with third-party service providers for those purposes.
When We Collect Information
Information is collected when a user registers on the website, places an order, subscribes to a newsletter, responds to a survey, fills out a form, or otherwise submits information through the site. Information may also be collected automatically through browser or device interactions. Unless otherwise stated at the time of collection, the information provided will be used only for the purpose for which it was submitted.
How We Use Your Information
Information collected through the website or services may be used to personalize the user experience, deliver relevant content and product offerings, and improve overall site functionality. It may also be used to respond to customer service inquiries, process transactions, administer promotions or surveys, and request feedback such as product or service reviews. Additionally, information may be used to follow up after communication initiated via live chat, email, or phone.
Redefining Strength may engage third-party service providers to perform certain business functions on its behalf. These providers are granted access only to the information necessary to carry out their assigned responsibilities and are contractually prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. These functions may include website hosting, data analysis, product fulfillment, customer support, marketing assistance, and payment processing.
Non-personally identifiable information, such as aggregate usage data or anonymized trends, may be shared with advertisers or partners for purposes such as market analysis or measuring engagement with specific offers or content. Such data does not identify individual users and is shared in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
How We Protect Personal Information
The Redefining Strength website is regularly scanned for security vulnerabilities and known threats in order to promote a secure user experience. Malware detection tools are used as part of ongoing monitoring and protection efforts.
Personal information is stored in secured networks and is accessible only to a limited number of authorized individuals who are required to maintain its confidentiality. Sensitive data, including payment information, is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology during transmission.
When a user submits, accesses, or transacts on the website, appropriate security measures are implemented to protect the information provided. All financial transactions are processed through a third-party payment gateway and are not stored or processed on Redefining Strength’s servers.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials used to access secure areas of the website. Redefining Strength is not responsible for the disclosure of personal information resulting from a user’s failure to secure their password or login credentials.
Although reasonable efforts are made to protect personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is entirely secure. Redefining Strength cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information transmitted through the website, and any such transmission is done at the user’s own risk.
Your Rights Regarding Personal Information
Users have the right to access the personal information shared with Redefining Strength and may request a downloadable copy of that information. Users also have the right to request that their personal information be modified or deleted, to object to or limit the processing of their information, and to withdraw previously given consent at any time. These rights may vary depending on the user’s location and the applicable data protection laws.
If a user believes that Redefining Strength’s handling of personal information is in violation of applicable privacy regulations, a complaint may be filed with the appropriate regulatory authority. Requests to access, correct, delete, or otherwise manage personal information should be submitted by email to [email protected]. Redefining Strength will make every reasonable effort to accommodate valid requests in accordance with applicable law.
Use of Cookies
Redefining Strength uses cookies to enhance the user experience and to collect information about site usage. Cookies are small text files that are stored on a user’s device by a web browser. These files allow the website or its service providers to recognize returning visitors, store user preferences, and track interactions for analytical and functional purposes.
Cookies may be used to remember items in a shopping cart, understand user preferences based on past or current site activity, and compile aggregated data about site traffic and user behavior. This information helps improve site performance and support future development of features and services.
Users may choose to disable cookies through their browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality and usability of certain features of the website.
How Cookies Are Used

These functions help improve the overall user experience and support ongoing development of site features and services.
Users have the ability to control cookie settings through their web browser. Most browsers allow users to choose whether to receive a warning each time a cookie is being sent or to disable cookies entirely. Third-Party Disclosure and Links
Redefining Strength does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer users’ Personally Identifiable Information to unaffiliated third parties without prior notice. This does not include trusted service providers, such as website hosting partners, payment processors, analytics providers, and other parties who assist in operating the website, supporting the business, or serving users, provided that those parties agree to keep all shared information confidential and use it solely for the purposes for which it was provided.
Personal information may be disclosed when required to comply with applicable laws, enforce site policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Redefining Strength, its users, or others. In addition, non-personally identifiable visitor data may be shared with third parties for marketing, advertising, analytics, or other business purposes.
From time to time, the website may include links to third-party products, services, or websites. These external sites operate independently and maintain their own privacy policies. Redefining Strength is not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third-party websites and assumes no liability in connection with their actions. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of any linked sites before submitting personal information. Feedback about third-party links is welcomed in the interest of maintaining the integrity of the site.
Google Advertising and Analytics
Redefining Strength uses Google Ads and related tools for advertising purposes, including remarketing and conversion tracking. These services help measure the effectiveness of advertisements and allow Redefining Strength to display targeted ads to users who have previously visited the website.
In connection with these services, Google may use cookies or other identifiers to track user activity across websites and deliver ads based on past interactions. These tools do not allow Redefining Strength to access personal identifying information but do provide aggregate insights into audience behavior, ad performance, and user engagement.
Users can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting their ad settings in their Google account or by visiting the Google Ads Settings page at https://adssettings.google.com. Additional opt-out options are available through the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

These integrations are optional and rely on user consent. Data shared through these platforms is used solely to provide core features and insights related to coaching and health goal tracking. Health data is not used for advertising or sold to third parties. All information is handled in compliance with applicable privacy and security standards. Redefining Strength does not directly store or process data from these third-party platforms beyond what is necessary to deliver user-requested features.
Users retain control over which integrations they connect and may manage or revoke access through the settings in the app or connected platform.
