Beginner Fly Push Up

To do the Beginner Fly Push Up, set up in a push up position from your knees (beginner) or toes (more advanced) with one hand on a slider or towel and the other hand on the ground. Your hands should be just outside your chest and under your shoulders. Do not let your hands go above your shoulders. Brace your abs and set your body in a nice straight line at the top of the push up. Then slide the hand on the slider out to the side and lower your chest down toward the ground to perform a push up. Make sure your body moves as one unit as you lower down. As you push up, slide the hand on the slider back in toward your hand on the ground. Make sure to keep your core braced so that your body moves as one unit to press back up. Repeat, sliding the hand back out as you lower back down into a push up. Complete all reps on one side before switching.
